Wisam Abbasi

Wisam Abu Ghosh is a development consultant with over 20 years of experience, specialising in heritage and tourism development. Currently pursuing a PhD at the University of Westminster, her research is dedicated to empowering women through tourism. She has conducted impactful training programs for women, focusing on soft skills and self-development, emphasising that empowerment begins from within. Wisam has also collaborated on projects designed to enhance opportunities for women and has taught tourism courses at both the University of Westminster and Bethlehem University. Committed to equitable development, she drives strategic initiatives that promote socio-economic growth, foster gender equality, and integrate innovative practices grounded in indigenous knowledge.
