We invite you to joins us in celebrating the publication of Tourism and Gender-Based Violence on the 30th of September at 4pm (UK time). The launch of the book edited by doctors Paola Vizcaino, Heather Jeffrey and Claudia Eger will include dialogue with contributors, editors and grassroots organisations.

As gender remains a marginal area of scholarly activity within tourism, it is perhaps unsurprising that gender-based violence has been largely overlooked. The edited book is a timely addition to the existing literature and covers a range of topics related to for example 4th wave feminism, or men’s rights, risk and empowerment alongside the double binds that women travellers face.

You can get a copy of the book now from the CABI store.
