Rebecca Harkins assists the organisation with digital marketing, using her professional experience to give knowledgeable support on branding and social media management.
Rebecca holds a degree in Business and has an extensive background in PR, with professional experience using social media in a marketing and branding capacity. She has worked for a range of public and private sector organisations, giving her an in-depth understanding of how to implement strong branding strategies. She has also worked in the hospitality industry, giving her on-the-ground experience relating to the challenges faced by women in the industry.
Having had first-hand experience of gender inequality in the workforce, she is passionate about equal opportunities for all and challenging the societal norms that are hindering progress towards this. Her passion for gender equality and travel is what brought her to Equality in Tourism, and she is “excited about helping women in hospitality level out the playing field.”
