Rebecca was a lawyer for a number of years before changing career by
taking an MSc at the International Centre for Responsible Tourism, where she researched the conditions for success of community-based tourism enterprises. She now runs her own sustainable tourism consultancy, Responsible Tourism Matters. She is passionate about generating equitable benefits from tourism for people, destinations and communities, and has hands-on experience of the mainstream tourism industry, gained from working with TUI Travel and Virgin Atlantic. Rebecca manages Equality in Tourism’s social media communications.
