Karen is the founder of Travel Matters, a travel concierge company and the Make Travel Matter campaign. She is passionate about building awareness and engagement about how we can travel responsibly and in a sustainable way, sharing good practice with clients as to how their travel choices and decisions can have a positive impact on the communities they visit. She believes that being able to travel is a privilege and aims to encourage people to make more conscious decisions during their travels and to be more pro-active in relation to the idea of protecting the environment and the communities they encounter along the way.
