Dr Lucy Ferguson joins UN Women Community of Practice In Training for Gender Equality

One of our directors, Dr Lucy Ferguson, will be working with the UN Women Training Centre Community of Practice in promoting exchange, debate and analysis for specialists and practitioners in Training for Gender Equality worldwide. Throughout 2014, Lucy will be moderating Virtual Dialogues, managing the online community and supporting the training centre’s analytical work on capacity development for transformation in gendered power relations. The first activity Lucy will be running is a Virtual Dialogue on Knowledge on Training for Gender Equality, which will explore the production and dissemination of knowledge on training for gender equality. This role will enhance Lucy’s contribution to Equality in Tourism by placing her at the forefront of the latest debates and resources on gender training, which will in turn feed into our training package for the tourism sector.
