Researching gender, tourism and water in Costa Rica

In June 2013, Dr Stroma Cole and Maria Diaz Madrigal conducted interviews with locals in Tamarindo, a resort on Costa Rica’s north Pacific coast, to examine the tourism-water-gender nexus in this fast-growing beach destination.
